It would help him to predict how a player may respond in new situations as he would be able to see patterns form in his behaviour.
How would knowledge of social learning theory help a coach with one of his team members?
He would be able to provide the player with role models that display the behaviours he would like and positively reinforce these behaviours when the player copied them.
