What is Cystic Fribrosis?
Cystic Fibrosis is caused by a recessive gene and is where a person gets a build up of sticky mucus on their lungs and digestive system causing breathing problems

What is Haemophilia?
An inherited bleeding disorder in which the blood does not clot properly and it only affect males
What is Sickle Cell disease?
A disease which affects a persons red blood cells

A person storing too much body fat due to eating too many calories and not exercising

What is Cardiovascular disease?
A disease which affects the heart and blood vessels and can lead to angina, strokes and heart attacks
What causes Cardiovascular disease?
A build up of fatty deposits in the arteries and an increase of blood clots
What is type 2 diabetes?
Causes blood sugar levels to become to high
What causes type 2 diabetes?
Pancreas stops working properly so cannot produce enough insulin causing blood sugar levels to rise
What are the symptoms of type 2 diabetes?
Tiredness
Weight loss
Blurred vision
Increased thirst
Urinating a lot

Body’s response to pressure
