Scenario 1: one clear way

goal attainment scaling (GAS)
a method of scoring the extent to which a client’s individual goals are achieved
Priori establishment of criteria for a successful outcome in that individual, which Is agreed with the client before plan implementation starts so that both the client and the counsellor have a realistic expectation of what will be attempted and is likely to be achieved
each goal is rated on a point scale, with the degree of attainment captured for each goal area
