Grid
-one compressor with feeder lines branching off a main line that starts out with a larger diameter pipe and then gets slower as it goes down the line
Decentralized
- two or more compressors with their own grids which can be interconnected or not.
- a compressor is usually close to where it is needed through the shop so there is less pressure drop
Loop system
-recommends - two or more compressors feed a single system
How to avoid moisture problems in your system
-sloping the line coming from the compressor away for the compressor with the drop on top
FRL
-filter, regulator and lubricator
Code dictates your system have?
-gauge, drain, safety relief valve
How does sealing happen in directional control valves in pneumatics?
- packed bore
- packed spool
- sliding plate
