parental choice - 3 types of parent
1) disconnected local choosers - WC who are restricted and less aware of choice (lack cultural and economic capital)
2) semi-skilled choosers - WC with ambition for their children but lack economic capital and cannot afford to send their children to good schools (catchment area and transport)
3) privileged skilled choosers - professional MC parents, understand the system and can afford to send their child to a popular school
