Yes
How would you check the registration details of an approved HCP?
Obtain up to date contact details from GMC (doctors) or GDC (dentists)
Can you supply if you can’t confirm registration status?
Yes you can still make a safe and legal supply provided records have been made of interventions and taking all reasonable steps to try
What medicines cannot be given?
- Schedule 1, 2 and 3 CDs
- Medicinal products without a marketing authorisation valid in the UK

Can an emergency supply be given if requested from a pt or approved HCP?
Yes it is legally possible - rx needs to be received in 72 hours
