What is shared activities and how do you enable it?
Shared activity is a task or event that is related to multiple contacts for example to recrod attendees of a meeting.
It must be enabled in Setup

Can you see Tasks or Events of a Contact on their related Account record? If so is it retrospective?
Yes - by enabling Roll up activities to a contacts primary account option in Activity Settings.
Only new activities are affected or if you update existing activities.
What is a shared activity? How many contacts can be related to an activity?
Its a task or event that is related to multiple contacts. Up to 50 contacts can be related to a shared task or event.
Do system admins have to decide on email notifications for activities when a task is assigned to a user?
No - users can do this in their personal settings
What can a task be shared to in Lightning?
Queue, users, groups
What is a resource calendar?
Can be used to schedule and organise the use of shared resource like equipment, rooms, computers.
What are Activity metric fields?
They display the summary of sales activities for a record. For example, first email date, last email sent date, inactive days etc.
Is there an Activity tab?
No - you can ask a developer to create one or use one from the app exchange
Does Salesforce automatically delete archived activities?
No - you can set a criterion to archive activities but if you want to delete them a user must do it manually.
If a shared task is created amongst users, do users get a copy of the task or is it shared under one?
Each user gets their own task record
Can you log an event to a user?
No - you can add them as an attendee but not log.
How many contacts on a shared activity can be made as the primary contact?
1
Who can view a private event?
The user that created the event and anyone with the View All permission.
Difference between tabular, summary, matrix and joined reports?
Tabular - Simple and fast just a basic list. No charts as tabular reports do not group by fields.
Summary - Similar to tabular but allows groupings to add charts, sub totals etc.
Matrix - Similar to Summary but can group by row AND column, looks like a grid
Joined - Combine multiple views or blocks of related data in a single report (up to 5). Essentially 2 different reports into 1 single report but you link a common field
What is a summary formula? How many can you have?
Sit on the summary level and creates numerical fields. You can have 5 summary formulas.
What is a row level formula?
Sit in reports and row by row.
How many conditional formatting rules can you have in a report?
5
Are OWD rules broken if a user has access to a subscribed email report displaying all opportunties?
Yes but when they access the report hyperlink in the email the OWD settings kick in.
