why is protein essential in a persons diet
help with growth of muscles
repairing body cells and tissues
maintained of enzymes and antibodies
what does low biological value protein mean
it is missing one or more of the essential amino acids

soya beans - they can be processed and made into different foods eg soya milk, tempeh, tofu
tofu - used in stir fry or omelettes, as well as desserts or dips
textured vegetable protein - made from soya flour that has turned into a dough, can be shaped, coloured and flavoured into different meat substitutes such as sausages.
