A
  • most reproduce asexually by fission, budding, or schizogogy ( div. of nucleus and cell)
  • some reproduce sexually and have gametes such as malaria and plasmodium
  • some have cysts and a thick coat for env. protection called trophozoite
  • cyst develop into a oocyst
