Q

What do we look for when we look for LQ?

A

We look to trade away from sweeps, and into sweeps.
We look for the types of LQ as well.

EQH/EQL
Trendline LQ
Range created LQ
Structural LQ

Q

If the 15m structure is confusing, what can we look at to try and make sense of it?

A

We can look at the 4H OF and 4H SO to get a clearer idea of what the 15M SO is, and if we need more understanding, we can look at the 1D OF and SO.

6
Q

What will we see in terms of OF once the objective is complete?

A

Once the 15M SO is complete, we will see a 15M Change of OF.
Once the 4H SO is complete, we will see a 4H change of OF.

These will be much more reliable if the SO is to continue the trend, since OF is more likely to hold for PT moves.

7
Q

What can we learn about PA by looking at momentum?

A

We can see which highs and lows are likely to get run based on how they form as a confluence for EOF.
We can also see price’s willingness to commit to a certain direction. If we have a PT move thats very corrective, the mitigation is probably not complete at that point.

8
Q

how does OF and momentum go together?

A

Once OF aligns with structure, we should see a lot of momentum in the market. If we don’t, then it’s likely that we haven’t had the full mitigation and higher price may come.

9
Q

What’s the best way to get into a pro trend move?

A

On the 15M, we can wait for price to tap into a POI, and play a reaction off of it, taking into consideration the HTF SO. That is how we can get into a 15M PT trade at the highest point. However, if you miss that, then you can enter after a 15M CHOCH, and take all the continuation trades from 15M OF ranges as they are very likely to hold until the SO is complete.

Q

What has cleaner OF, PT or CT trades?

A

PT moves always have cleaner OF, as CT trades can sometimes CHOCH all over the place before the mitigation is complete.

Q

Can you trade into an OF range?

A

Yes, you can trade out of and into a larger OF range on the 15M and 4H. Just like with structure, we will see price initiate out of a range, and mitigate it again before continuing. The market is fractal in this sense.

Q

Can you trade OF the same way you trade structure?

A

Yes, you can trade OF the same way you trade structure, but waiting for a break of the range, and a mitigation back into it, and then LTF OF to hold until the new range is broken again.

Q

If we’re monitoring price on the 15M (bearish trend, bullish OF to mitigate), when do we want to look for a CHOCH on the 15M, and when do we want to look for a CHOCH on the 1M, and when on the 5S?

A

On the 15M, we can look for price to CHOCH on the 1M if we tap into a valid POI for continuations, or for the PB after a BOS.
If in the above example, we tap into a refined OB (either for continuation or PB) and have a strong reaction, we can look for a CHOCH and flip on the 5S.

If price doesn’t tap into a POI, then we should wait for a 15M change of OF, so that it aligns with the SO. Then this will create an OF POI that we can look to enter on the 1M, or a refined OF POI which we can use to enter on the 5S

Q

If We tap into a Structural POI on the 4H, what TF should we look for CHOCH’s on?

A

If we tap into a structural POI on the 4H, we can look for CHOCH’s on the 15M. (Either after a 4H BOS, or a valid POI to continue the 4H trend)

15
Q

If the 15M has CHOCH’d towards the new SO, and created an OF POI, what TF can we look for entries when price taps into this OF POI?

A

We can look for 1M entries, or if it taps into a refined POI, we can look for 5S entries

16
Q

If price taps into a 4H extreme structural POI, do we have to wait for a 15M CHOCH?

A

If price taps into an extreme 4H POI, we don’t have to wait for a 15M CHOCH, we can look for the 1M entry criteria

17
Q

When trading complex pullbacks, what entries do we want to take?

A

When trading the complex pullbacks, we want to only take HP trades, understanding that PA can be a bit wacky. We also don’t want to get caught in the middle, so it’s best to try and enter pretty low in the leg (after a bearish BOS). For example, after a 15M bearish BOS, if we tap into a demand zone, we want to take the first 1M CHOCH bullish to try and catch the reversal into premium.

18
Q

Where are complex pullbacks likely to pullback to?

A

They are likely to pull back to the extreme, but will build lots of LQ on their way to give way for the PT move to be very strong

19
Q

Do you have to trade Pullbacks?

A

No, this is likely where you’ll take the majority of your losses. If you get into a 15M Pullback at the first 1M or 15M CHOCH, then that’s good but after that you have to be very selective of your entries.

20
Q

When is the safest place to get into a pullback trade after a 15M bearish BOS?

A

The safest way to enter a 15M PB is after a 1M bullish CHOCH (if it taps into demand), or after a 15M bullish CHOCH if it doesn’t tap into a demand POI, or as a scale in. After that, price may start CHOCHing around.

21
Q

What are the 2 highest probability areas to look for continuations when price comes to a range or a POI?

A

The 2 highest probability areas for continuations once price taps into a POI or a range, would be the flip that breaks the range, and the extreme.

22
Q

Since we cant predict where the market is going, what kind of mentality/outlook can we have with trading?

A

We have to think of trading in the following terms:

We cannot predict where the market is going, we can only react. However, we can have our HTF narrative that will give us a clear directional bias of where price has a HP of going. Then once we have LTF confirmation, we react to it, and enter.

We cannot expect to make a certain amount per day, we can only take trades based on what the market gives us.

We have our POI’s, and if it taps it then we have a refined entry. If not, then we look for a CHOCH on that TF

23
Q

Can you trade the break out and the mitigation of an OF range?

A

yes absolutely, but we want to be careful. We can easily play the mitigation of a 1D and 4H Of range, but we want to make sure that the 15M Of range is either a larger range (if CT), or a PT range.

24
Q

What are some confluences that the mitigation is complete based on OF?

A

The CHOCH is in the premium of the leg
The CHOCH is in a POI
The CHOCH happens after the POI taps into the overall range
We have a change of larger OF ranges, not the miniscule ones.

25
Q

What are HP areas to take a continuation trade in a PB?

A

The extreme if possible (first 1M CHOCH after 15M BOS)
From POI’s that swept clear LQ
Areas that are failed CHOCH’s

26
Q

When there is a pool of LQ that price taps into, after a BOS, what is likely to happen? (Using 15M bullish structure as an example)

A

When we have a bullish BOS, and we tap into a supply zone, we can assume that we will mitigate the 15M structure. However, if there is a pool of LQ as EQH that we sweep while into, we can assume that the reaction would be more momentous considering all the orders that were absorbed.

27
Q

Imagine we have a bearish BOS on the 4H, we are expecting a 4H PB to mitigate. However, the 15M needs to change bullish to mitigate the 4H. If the 15M has a bearish BOS, how can we tell if the newly created strong high on the 15M is going to get run to mitigate the 4H structure?

A

A good sign that the 15M strong high is going to go would be if after the 15M bearish BOS, we have a lot of momentum kick into the market for the bullish mitigation leg. If the mitigation leg is corrective, we will likely continue to see lower prices

28
Q

What’s the safest way to enter on a PB?

A

The safest way to trade a 15M PB (assuming we have a 15M bullish BOS) is to wait for the 1M to CHOCH bearish, then wait for the 5s to CHOCH bearish on the mitigation leg of the 1M CHOCH

29
Q

How can we limit our FOMO when waiting to enter trades?

A

We have to have predefined HP areas that we will look for 1M CHOCH’s in, and if price doesn’t tap into it, then we need to wait for a 15M CHOCH, then we can enter on the new POI.

We only take what the market gives us, we cant expect more than that.

30
Q

Where can we look for POI’s to trade from? (4)

A

We can look for:
Structural POI’s to trade the PT SO
Structural POI’s just beyond the structural high/low to trade the CT SO (mitigation)
OF POI’s to trade OF continuations
POIs just outside of the OF range to trade back into the OF range

31
Q

How can we trade ranges?

A

The same way that we trade structure. Failure to take the weak point, says we could have a reversal
we can also trade the continuations and mitigations of larger ranges.

32
Q

Is 4H structure always 15M OF? And if not, what is the correlation between them?

A

No, there can be larger and smaller 4H ranges that are still larger than 15M swing structure, and in that case, the correlation would be as follows:
4H Swing
4H larger OF /Internal structure (swing within swing)
4H smaller OF
15M swing
15M larger OF/ Internal structure (swing within swing)
15M smaller OF

You can go down one to see when the HTF leg is finished.

Example: In a bullish 4H smaller OF range, we fail to take the high of the range, then have a 15M bearish BOS, which means that the 4H smaller OF range low is now weak.

33
Q

Where do we want to set alerts in order to catch trades without staring at the screen all day?

A

When a high or low gets run, so we can trade the PB
Above or below LQ pools, since we trade away from LQ sweeps
On Valid OF POIs and Structural POI’s to catch OF continuations and structural continuations

34
Q

What do we have to keep an eye on for potential setups?

A

When a high or low gets run (OF or Structure)
When we tap into a LQ pool
Valid structural and OF POI’s ( so be aware of 4H and 15M CHOCH’s)

Where ever we have a potential change to OF or structure, set an alert so you can play the reaction.

35
Q

When trading PT continuations on the 15M, how long can we trade the OF ranges for?

A

Until one fails, as that would be where the objective is completed.

36
Q

What is a great confluence for a high probability PB trade.

A

A great confluence for HP pullback trades is if price taps into or sweeps a large pool of LQ

37
Q

How can we trade a PB with high probability?

A

by trading at the first CHOHC, and then by trading at the extreme of the PB OF ranges

38
Q

When can we use a sell stop or buy stop with high probability?

A

When we can cover the extreme with the stop loss

39
Q

If the 15M is bullish structurally, when can we assume that the low is weak?

A

Once we fail to take the high and have a 15M bearish CHOCH. Then we can say that the 15M low is potentially weak

40
Q

What do we want to look at when we look at momentum?

A

When looking at momentum, we want to look at the impulsiveness of the leg, as well as how highs and lows form.
