  • Ideally the patient is discharged when the score is 10  but 9 is acceptable
  • Respiration: able to take deep breaths on own = 2
  • O2 sats maintains >92% on RA = 2
  • LOC fully awake = 2
  • Circulation BP +/-20mmHg pre op= 2
  • Activity Able to move 4 extremities voluntarily on command = 2

A

o Half-hourly for 2 hours
o Hourly for a further 4 hours
o Two-hourly for a further 6 hours
