- signs are corneal defects and corneal ulcers

  • infection of tissues behind orbital septum
  • severe sight and life threatening
  • signs are redness pain in eye movement and fever and lids swollen warm and sore
  • needs IV antibiotics and steroids

can be spontaneous or trauma
treatment: cold compress goes away itself
