What is Marxism?
A theory that highlights the inherent flaws within capitalism and a communist revolution
What is a communist revolution?
Where a capitalist society will ultimately result in a communism and a socialist society where workers will overthrow rich owners and their company, which is now run by the workers who are getting paid by THEIR production

What is communism?
An ideology believing that through revolution, property is owned by the community and people share the production of goods and the benefits of production

a term used by Karl Marx to refer to the class of industrial workers whose only asset is the labor that they sell to an employer.
What is a Bourgeoisie?
a French word that refers to the social class that evolved in Europe during the Middle Ages with the development of cities and the growth in trade.

An educational reformer that believed in the values of socialism, all people work different jobs, receive the same pay, and live a comfortable life
What is an authoritarian government
A government that is not elected and does not respect the will of the people
What is an absolute monarchy?
When a monarch has absolute control over his or hers rights and power, above the law

A system of government where one person has all control of that nation
What is censorship?
Restricting freedom and rights to people, and to protect the perceived goodness of the governmental system

A military or political group that seizes power of a nation after overthrowing it

A government that is centralized and dictatorial and requires complete subservience to the state

German organization that replaced labor unions and went against liberal values

Complete government control of industries
How did a fascist economy in Nazi Germany reject liberalism?
How did Nazi’s use social Darwinism to prove the killings of jews?
Social Darwinism states that some people are “better” than others and that eliminating the people who are hinderance, will make a stronger, smarter, and overall better society. Jews were looked at as weak and a hinderance to the next generation because of genetics
