Releases Oocytes. Produces estrogen and progesterone

Must convert ammonia to ureas or Uric acid because ammonia is very toxic. Loose water through excretion and respiration.

2. Maintenance of water-salt balance
3. Maintenance of acid- balance (pH balance)
4. Secretion of hormones
