Q

In what case would we see a positive correlation?

Q

What are the 2 strengths of using correlational research?

A

It is a starting point as it allows you to see if there is a link between 2 things before you commit into research.
It is quick and economical, it takes littles time and it cheap to run.

Q

What are the 2 weaknesses of using correlational research?

A

The direction of causation, you don’t know what factor is effecting which, it could be either way round, therefore you can’t say for sure what is effecting what.
The third variable effect, this is the chance of there being a third reason as to why the 2 variables have a link.
