add soda lime to 2 test tube so they can absorb any CO2 produce from respiration.

A
a ball of cotton is placed above soda lime in both tubes.
woodlice is added in one tube and glass bead with same mass is added in the other tube (for control tube)

A
respirometer is set up for both test tubes and placed in a water bath at 15 degrees for a fixed amount of time.

what is the excepted result for the test tube containing wood lice?
A
decrease in volume of air because woodlice use up oxygen to respire and any CO2 produced is absorbed by soda lime.
