Constituents of Blood

A

Red Blood Cells (RBCs): Comprise 99% of cells by volume. They are responsible for carrying O2 and CO2.
Platelets: Involved in haemostasis and are 10 times more numerous than white blood cells.
White Blood Cells (WBCs): Play a crucial role in immunity and protection. They are 1000 times less numerous than red blood cells.
