16
Q

where is the location of cones in the eye?

A

mostly densely concentrated in the centre of the retina (the forea)

17
Q

what is the forea?

A

area in the centre of the retina where there is a high concentration of cones.
- this is why in order to see object in fine detail and true colours its important to look directly at it, ensuring the image is focused on the forea.

18
Q

which one allows peripheral vision?

19
Q

do rods allow peripheral vision?

A

yes, because they are located on the outer edges of the retina

20
