what is osmosis ?
A
the diffusion of water from a dilute solution to a concentrated solution through a partially permeable membrane

how do you calculate % change ?
A
% change = change in value / original x 100

what do you need to do with the potato before it goes in the solution ?
A
- peel it
- give them the same diameter with a cork borer
- measure length
- measure mass using a balance
