what does ٱلَّذِى mean? and when is it used

A

ٱلَّذِى is a relative pro noun. It is used to refer to a human being it’ll be translated as the one/whom/who. if its used to refer to an animal/thing its translated as which.

A

ٱلَّذِى and ٱلَّتِى are the same but are used in diff places. ٱلَّذِى and ٱلَّتِى are only used in the middle of a sentence. The word (alif and ya) are used in the beginning of a sentence
