Free, fair elections…
The people have the right to elect the representative they feel will be the most beneficial, and each vote has the same value. Electoral commissions aid in ensuring elections are held freely and fairly.
Government’s shared values in law…
Mutual values such as dignity, equality and respect are upheld in law to protect: fair trials, education, healthcare, liberty and more.
The right to dissent…
Anyone has the right under freedom of speech to openly disagree with the government without the threat of prosecution, but this rule also protects the rights of those around you as you can’t physically or emotionally target others through discrimination.
Resolving differences civilly…
Processes to resolve differences must exist to ensure peace. This can be done through negotiation (discussion), mediation (independent unbiased party involved), reconciliation (forgiveness).
