Q

what is snowball sampling and strengths and weaknesses

A

initial pps recruit new pps to take part

strenght-
can access hard to reach groups
useful for explatory research, rather than generalisable fidnings
cost and time effective, others doing recruitment process

weakness-
having to rely on others
unlikely to be representative as all part of same social network (sample bias)
