the advert features much more copy than a modern advert would do today, this was very characteristic of adverts in the 60s as producers had to give the audience as much information on the product as possible
large colour pictures
the use of large colour pictures highlights the changes in advertising trends that were happening during the 60s as ads were beginning to shift away from illustrations. additionally the use of a large colour photo wasn’t something that was incredibly common during the 60s so this adds an element of excitement for the audience
direct address
the use of direct address is engaging and persuasive “get what you’ve always wanted”
repetition
repletion of the brand name within the description helps it to stick in audiences heads and creates brand identity
score
the word score connotes winning, success, and being number 1, this could also be a play on words to suggest success with women
the man
the man is positioned in the centre top of the ad which makes him seem dominant and important ( very traditional representation of a man in the 60s) the women are below him and are reaching out to try touch him which makes him seem godlike and the women submissive
communicates a clear narrative

sexualisation of women in the media
