A

Planned - adequate time to prepare pax and cabin for landing

Unplanned - occurs inflight or on ground and requires immediate landing/ditching/evacuation with no time to prepare

A

Use BCF to extinguish flames

Use protection gloves to place battery in bin/bucket full of water in order to completely submerge battery

Place in unused toilet and monitor regularly

Do not use ice or other forms to smother fire

A

In flight - never (inform FD)

On ground - with permission from FD or Engineering, once only

A

R1, L2, R2, R4

FastFind is an interim 406 MHz satellite beacon which supplements the SARBE7 in Mk25

There are 4 therefore you can have a 406 beacon on each life raft - L1/L4 have ELT and L3/R3 has no raft
