Encouraged doubt by changing reality, even making people doubt their own senses.
Therefore, scientific reason replaces the senses.
Led to the Modern Western culture today that says out of everything, you can trust scientific reason.
John Locke’s version of human nature
We do no harm to others because we are equals

Human nature is to be in a state of war and we are all selfish

We all have a universal moral law, so we need liberal democracy, which means we all contribute to life betterment because we have natural and inalienable rights. The law is only needed to protect the liberty and equality of citizens.

We need laws for our own survival, so a monarchy is necessary.
