A

Ability to maintain balance.
Larger BOS = easier to be stable, but harder when it’s a smaller base of support.
Lowering your centre of gravity can also help with balance.

A

Area of ground in which the body is in contact with the floor.

Motion.

A

Continual movement/ change in body’s positioning.
3 types -> angular, linear and general.
Angular -> rotates on a fixed point/ axis.
Linear -> occurs in a straight line.
General -> combination of both linear and angular.

The movement in section one called ‘Like honey’.
Hand plucks from the ground and continues upward as your left legs pulls you around to face the front.

  • Activation of core (abdominals) - in order to maintain balance when turning.
  • ## Slightly lowering my centre of gravity.

- Clapping at the end of a performance.
- No smoking inside the venue.

- No phones (switched off during performance).
- No talking (laughing, screaming).
Performers -

- Practicing and running over dances.
