13
Q

What are benefits to using Shoulder ID?

A
  • NO GLENOID REAMING/BONE PRESERVATION
  • Patient MATCHED implant…(Matching the implant to the deformity…NOT the deformity to the implant by reaming away bone)
  • Peripheral screw length optimization by first setting your screw location to get best bone purchase then compute your augment
  • Superior for use in biplanar glenoid deformities (Retroverted and Superior Inclinated) without all the reaming/medialization

16
Q

What’s minimum post engagement required into glenoid vault?

17
Q

Do you want post to be “contained” within the vault or perforate?

A

Contained within the vault…IF on rare occasion there’s perforation it needs to be anteriorly.

18
Q

What patient population would Shoulder ID be ideal for?

A
  • Patients with a small glenoid vault due to smaller boss on this implant in comparison with normal boss of off shelf solution.
  • All primaries
