  • Cough with purulent sputum (blood)
  • Rigors and fever
  • Dyspnoea
  • Chest pain (pleuritic, sudden onset)

A
  • Cough - may be dry or productive
  • SOB - alveoli becomes full of pus
  • Fever
  • Chest pain - often pleuritic and worse when coughing
  • Confusion
  • D+V
  • Myalgia and arthralgia
