What is osteoporosis?

A

Health condition that weakens bones making them more fragile and more likely to break. Common injuries = broken hip or broken vertebrae

19
Q

What can paramedics do if they come across an open fracture?

A

Cover the wound with sterile dressing and can also apply pressure around wound (not over) to control any bleeding
