A
  1. Red raised tender nodule, LL (shin)
  2. Sarcoidosis
    Chrons
    CA
    TB, Leprosy, fungal, bact, chlamydial, viral, strep
    Preg
    Sulfonamide, tetracycline, OCP
  3. Inv- FBC, ESR/CRP, Strep serology (ASOT), Mantoux
    M imp - CXR for sarcoidosis
  4. Rx: leg elevation, NSAID, steroid

  2. Burninig, painful, 1-2 dermatomes
  3. Mx:
    Antiviral given when-
    <72hrs presentation
    Genitals involved
    Immunocompromised
    Severe pain - also steroid
