Retained most of the legal code of the Tang Dynasty.

Foreigners had an impact on them. Vigorous sea terrace exceeded foreign land trade. Import of goods created interaction with different countries.
How was agriculture improved during this time period?
The change in agriculture was a major reason for the economic growth. Ore and more land was dedicated to farming. The growing of so much rice and other crops became more and more popular for supporting link of the large population.
What were the major inventions that were created during this time period?
The invention of printing, the improvement of gun powder, and the invention of the magnetic compass which changed the world of navigation.
What were the improvements in transportation?
Ships could hold up to 500 people, they had multiple decks, watertight compartments and rudders to make steering easier. After the invention of the compass, navigation was made easier.
