Poseidon, god of the sea, because Odysseus blinded his son Polyphemus.
Who is Zeus?
King of the gods, occasionally intervenes, decides fate.
What happens with the Cicones?

King of Phaeacia, gives Odysseus safe passage home.

War in Italy between Aeneas’ Trojans & local tribes.
How are they different?
Trojan = Troy vs. Greece. Latin = Aeneas vs. Latins for land/marriage.
