MCH and Reverser to OFF
Remove controller key
Cut out (raise trip, apply &isolate air brake)
Release saloon doors

A

SPB’s are applied both Train-lined and Local
Saloon lights ON
Marker lights AUTO
Windows blinds secure
Unnecessary cab equipment OFF

A

A

Observe:
Park Brake status lights and gauge indicating SPB’s applied
Marker lights to Centre

A

Ensure train is
‘In Clear’

A

Marker lights to AUTO
Windows, blinds
Unnecessary cab equipment OFF
Trips raised
Open and charge Panto res.
Secure all cab doors
Press saloon light OFF button for 5 secs
Press Remote Panto lower button for 2 secs
Observe Panto’s lowered
Observe battery charger fault light illuminates yellow
Observe stabling status light flashes yellow
Exit via B side door and lock

A

Contact Fleet Control with:

  • Siding location and road number
  • Motor numbers for the consist
