Finally, they told him “yes”

“Let me see!” said Crow

A boy held Crowʼs nose in his palm
Tsʼarkʼi “ayet ásį chʼe!” anį
“That is my nose!” said Crow
Kʼí chʼų̂ dàsį asį, kàyjenchʼal thʼäy
Crow ripped off the nose he made of birch bark
Akààkʼè lhų tlʼąą dàsı̨̂ nàńʼą̀ą̀ thʼäy
And then he put back his real nose
Tlʼaahêt uyákwinzhaʼ lhàtsʼi du
The tent had a hole for smoke
Tlʼaahêt yäwkwàzhaʼaân shaajenatʼä̌ y thʼäy
He flew out throught that tent hole
