What is the mechanism for attacking the jing-luo stroke?
Liver-wind/yang with phlegm stagnated in the channels and collaterals.
What is the tx principle for attacking the jing-luo stroke?
Calm LV-wind/yang, eliminate phlegm and regulate channels.
What is the formula for attacking the jing-luo stroke?

What is the mechanism for tense syndrome?
LV-yang/wind together with phlegm and fire going upwards and disturb the brain.
What is the tx principle for tense syndrome?
Calm wind, clear fire, eliminate phlegm and gives resuscitation.
What is the formula for tense syndrome?
Ling yang jiao tang and an gong niu huang wan.

What is the formula for flaccid syndrome?
Shen fu tang.
What are some points for flaccid syndrome?
Ren 4, 6, 8 (Moxa).
What are the four patterns of the recovery stage stroke?

LV-yang rising.
What is the tx principle for LV-yang rising?
Soothe LV, suppress yang, and regulate channels.
What is the formula for LV-yang rising?
Tian ma you teng yin.
What are some points for LV-yang rising?
