Suitability Screening Process:
- Service member receives orders (30-day clock begins) - PSD schedules SM/FM screenings - Transferring command conducts a “command review” - SSC completes NAVMED 1300/2 - MTF/DTF conducts screening and completes NAVMED 1300/1 part I&II - SSC forwards suitability inquiry to gaining MTF - Gaining MTF assesses local resources and replies to screening MTF within 7 working days - MTF CO/OIC provides recommendations to transferring command on NAVPERS 1300/16 part II - Transferring command makes suitability determination on NAVPERS 1300/16 part I (30-day clock ends)
