A
tells you how significant the differences between groups are; In other words it lets you know if those differences (measured in means/averages) could have happened by chance

a ratio between the difference between two groups and the difference within the groups

p-value
A
the probability that the results from your sample data occurred by chance. low p-values are good and anything under 0.05% means it is unlikely results was because of chance

A
an experiment which is run on a t test on dependent samples
e.g. a person before and after training, blood pressure on two separate occasions
