Q

Va14 D0b

A

D011.10 TCR has a beta chain that is Vb8.2. This pairs with the VaChain to recognize CD1d lipid antigen from James’ 2007 immunity paper

Q

CDR1 swap substitutions

A

Va14-Ja18 is a type 1 TCR, Type II TCRs commonly express Va3.2 and can also express Va1 or Va4
Switched out the CDR1 of Va14 with CDr1 from type II TCRs
Can’t bind tetramer. This suggests that CDr1 of Va14 is uniquely required for CD1d recognitionn
