What is the difference between Tequila & Mezcal?
Tequila must be made in specific areas of Mexico and must always be made from blue weber agave. Mezcal is made on a more broad geographical scale and usually has a smokier flavour profile.

It’s actually not a tequila but instead an unaged mezcal, however it’s still been made with an agave base which is similar to tequila. The flavour profile is distinctly smokey with earthy, peppery notes.
