moral panic
where the media create an exaggerated response to a groups actions, which leads to overreaction in society

a question asked within an interview or questionnaire, which has no limited or restricted response, and the participant can answer freely

a research method, where an individual or group is watched, whilst the sociologist participates in activities as well.
pluralism
variety of views within a society
