What is the first step taken when drafting
Spot the engine as close as possible to the water source and set break
Does the engine jake break effect the abs
No, abs should deactivate the jake break when wheel slip occurs
Who decides if we wear our readiness uniform?
What two factors determine if you will relay pump or not?
Distance and fire flow

Orange placards mean...
What is cavitation
Cavitation is when the pump runs away from the water, air cavities are created in the pump or bubbles pass through the pump. They move from the point of highest vacuum to the pressurized section and collapse.
What are some signs of possible cavitation
Pulsating hose stams, pressure gauge will fluctuate, popping or spurting sound from the nozzle, gravel sound in the pump.

What is the Venturi principle
When high pressure water passes through a restriction, it creates a low pressure area within the eductor, which creates suction and pulls the foam into the eductor.
