Explain how sporophytic self-incompatability works
Each Pollen gran is coated with proteins from two different alleles. If either protein matches the protein on the stigma there is no pollentation.
Explain how gameophytic self-incompatability works
Coating comes from the Pollen grain itself if the protein is the same as the stigma then there is no pollentation
