it is the process of food breaking down mechanically example teeth

amylase is found in the slavia to break down things like starch/carbs
what is the enzyme pepsins purpose
pepsin breaks down proteins into amino acids ( occurs in stomach) by secreted gastic juice
what is the Salivary glands purpose
it contains enzyme known as salivary amylase which breaks down starch/carbs into disaccharides
what does the pancreas do
- it dilivers fluid which has multiple enzymes to small intestine (Trypsin, Pancreatic amylase, Lipase)
- and it also secretes bicarbonate ions in order to raise the pH before goes into small intestine
what does the lipase pancrease enzyme do
it digests lipids into fatty acids
what does Pancreatic amylase (amylase) pancrease enzyme do
it digests starch into disaccharides

what does the liver do
secrete bile salts which help in the role in the digestion of fats.
what do bile salts do and take place
in liver help the lipases(ones from pancreas) break down fats in the small intestine by emulsifying lipids
role of the gall bladder
After bile is produced in the liver the gall bladder is used for storage in and takes in bile salts as needed into the small intestine.
