1. Not represented same in all religions
   - Christianity: monotheistic, Buddhism and Hinduism: many gods
   - Christianity: Jesus is God incarnate, Islam: Jesus is a prophet
2. Omnipotence is not really reflected today the way it was in bible
   - saved Hebrews from Egypt in Old Testament
3. Omniattributes are questioned as evil and suffering exists
4. Depictions of God vary in Christianity, the emphasis a follower gives to these can change view
   - eg. Depicted very differently in Old Testament and New Testament

Why are questions about the existence of God important for some? (5)

Answer 2

1. If real, people may want to connect and learn through worship
2. If not real, can live without fear of judgement
3. If real, may live in a way which would please God to get into Heaven
4. May give some purpose and value in life
5. May help answer other questions: if god is real, there may be an afterlife, creator, and purpose
