The four elements of an empowered life Flashcards
(25 cards)
1
“Let there be light”;
Surely, there is something deeper and more mystical being communicated to us.
we are empowered to create light.
2
Does it excite you?
3
an active partner in building the world.
4
The day that you were born is the day that God decided that the world can’t go on without you.
5
Kabbalah teaches us that the outer world (Olam Gadol) is a reflection of our inner world (Olam Kattan). As we grow as individuals, we are sending out positive vibrations to the world and adding more light simply by virtue of our improvement.
6
The “Outward Journey” to improve the Olam Gadol, the world around us, through our accomplishments and by making our im pact on the world using the innate strengths that we were given. 2. The “Inner Journey” to improve the Olam Kattan, the world inside of us, through self-mastery, inner exploration, and dis covering the Godly spark that is inside of us
7
The two journeys will often overlap.
8
Regarding the aspect of our outer world mission, we need to step up, self-actualize, and contribute, we are empowered to leave behind a better world than the one we found when we got here.
9
The inner journey, however, goes far beyond its application to the external world. It also involves us viewing ourselves as bigger than anything that we could accomplish in the physical realm. We are more than our relationships and more than our “doing.” It involves us discov ering our inherent self-worth. It involves tuning into a higher and more expanded level of consciousness where we meet the more Godly parts of ourselves.
10
that spark of Godliness inside of us that never fades.
It begins as something very small, buried deep inside of us, but throughout our life our goal is to nurture it into a full inner flame.
we want to refine our inner world so it can truly shine with its full radiance and brilliance
11
carefully thought-out mission statement
an employee cannot be fully motivated in their job if they do not fully grasp the mission of the company and understand what they are contributing toward! The more that the team knows their purpose, the more likely that they will be bought-in and inspired by the process.
One can compare it to a successful company as it moves from a startup phase into a full-scale business. Many new problems may arise that might even threaten to destroy the company, but when the solution comes, the company gets propelled into even greater growth and further development. During the crisis, all hope seems lost, but in the grand scheme of things, one can see that this was just part of the process. In our world, too, all of the pain is just part of the process,
God created a world with the potential to become enlightened but hid that light so that it would be earned.
The goal of all spiritual seekers is to achieve high levels of self-mastery so that rather than being controlled by emotions, desires, thoughts, and ego, the seeker becomes the master of them.
When we reach higher levels of self-mastery, we eliminate much of the turmoil of life that comes from being controlled by our negative inner forces, and we can enjoy a much more joyful, peaceful, and blissful existence.
As we gain more and more self-mastery, we can also begin to experience higher states of consciousness, including a greater awareness of one’s self, of the Divine, and a deep sense of clarity and truth.
Most people who attend seminars, read self-help books, and spend thousands of dollars on courses essentially change very little. This is because they never develop a real plan for how to change. A decision without taking action is worth nothing.

*a quickening of one’s movement, including the pace that we walk and the posture that we hold;

* time-blocking for daily goals
- If you feel that it relates to your physical body, productivity, or mood, connect it to earth.
- If you feel it has to do with pleasure, emotions, or close relation ships, connect it to water.
- If you feel it is connected to how you communicate, your intel lect, creativity, or your thinking process, connect it to wind.
- And if it has to do with motivation, determination, or humility, connect it to the fire element.
when doing many small goals, it conditions one to become that, more than doing one big act of something.
Fire represents our goal for self-actualization. . Self-actualized people seek growth, creativity, purpose, and personal mastery rather than maintaining conforming image and drooling for approval.
Earth represents our goal of building health and fitness.
Water represents our goal of deepening connection and emotion.
Wind represents our goal of expanding knowledge and expression.
earth/body level is mainly concerned about survival that we feel anxious and concerned about the future, sometimes for no real reason at all. This contributes to a sad and heavy state and also leads us to become jealous of others whom we perceive as having it better than we do.
The Fire/Will level becomes the root of inflated ego and an end less desire to be shown honor and respect for 0 literally larping.
life is like a big book of brain-teasers
