What are the indications for a CT scan within 8 hours for a patient with a head injury?
This is used for adults with any of the following risk factors who have experienced some loss of consciousness or amnesia since the injury: - Aged 65 yrs of older - any history of bleeding or clotting disorders including anticoag. - dangerous mechanism of injury (pedestrian hit by car etc.) - more than 30 minutes retrograde amnesia of events immediately before the head injury. - If the patient is on warfarin (dont need to have an other indications for CT head)

What medication is given for patients with bilateral primary open angle glaucoma?
Offer 360 degree selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) fist-line in patients with an IOP of >24mmHg. Prostaglandin analogues may be used next-line. Beta-blockers can be added to these if IOP remains high.
