Sunni Muslims believe that in Predestination God creates actions whereas in Human Freedom Sunni Muslims believe that humans are responsible for there actions. Shi’a Muslims believe that in Predestination God knows but does not force human actions whereas in Human Freedom Shi’a Muslims believe that humans have real actions but within limits.

A

The key differences between Sunni and Shi’a Muslims and their beliefs in predestination is that Sunni Muslims believe that God has decreed all events and humans acquire actions whereas Shi’a Muslims believe in the Middle path and that humans have real but limited free will. Sunni Muslims believe that humans are accountable for there actions and words but it all happens by God’s will whereas Shi’a Muslims believe that humans are fully accountable for freely chosen actions. Sunni Muslims believe that God’s will is above human understanding whereas Shi’a Muslims believe that God is just and would not punish without choice.
