A secret Serbian nationalist group that planned the assassination of Franz Ferdinand.

Bosnia was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire but many Bosnians wanted to join Serbia, their neighbor, instead.

Gavrilo Princip shot him and his wife Sophie while they were in a car near a café after their driver took a wrong turn.

Why did Germany invade Belgium?
To reach France quickly as part of the Schlieffen Plan (attack France first, then Russia).
