  1. Hold burn under cool running water for at least ten minutes.
  2. Remove clothing or jewelry around the burn, unless stuck to the burn.
  3. Cover lengthways with cling film.
  4. Monitor casualty and seek medical advice.

How do you treat minor falls?

A
  1. Remain calm and do not move person right away.
  2. Check for strong pain on body and to help recover from the shock, ask him/her to relax and take a few deep breaths.
  3. If the person is okay, ask individual to roll onto one side. Wait for a few moments (body and blood pressure will adjust) and help individual to get on hi/her hands and knees.
  4. Place a chair close to person, ask him/her to put hands on chair seat whilst sliding one foot forward in order from the sole to be flat leg bent in order for the knee to remain on the floor.
  5. From kneeling position, person can slowly rise and sit on chair.
  6. If person is still in pain, call 112.
