What does the towing cock do?
Chokes MR pressure when coupling with a comenge. Prevents overcharging as both MR pressures are different
When towing cock is in use, what does it lower MR pressure to? Does it change the whole train pressure as well?
Lowers to 700kpa only in cab it is turned in. Rest of train will continue at operating pressure 850-1000kpa
When the towing cock is being used, what light can sometimes flash as a result of the mismatched MR pressures on the train?
Uncouple light

What does the manual valve (master cock) do?
Allows complete isolation of whole pneumatic system of the coupler
What does the manual valve EXTEND do?
Prevents coupler doors opening during coupling
What does manual valve RETRACT do?
Prevents doors from retracting during Uncoupling
Do driver use the electrical coupler handle?
No
Is the brake module used in EP braking?
Yes. Does not get used in ED.
